Image of Tahoe
TAHOE: EDB 8/07, black, medium hair
Tahoe was returned to Happy Tails in April 2008 after just four months (and with three other cats) because his owner got sick. He is a little bit of a shy boy, but once he warms up to you, he will cuddle and love to be petted, and will sleep with you at night. He will play non-stop with his cat toys.

TAU: EDB 1994, black Bengal, short hair
Tau came into Happy Tails in late April 2008 because his owners couldn't keep him due to a new baby who is around the house and allergic to cat dander. They didn't give us much information about his personality. We know he is a little frightened of loud noises (aren't all cats?), very playful – loves catnip!, has a mellow personality and likes to sleep on the bed. So far, he seems to be a sweet guy despite the fact that he is learning to adjust to a new situation after being in a home for most of his 13 years. Why not give him the chance to get right back into his own home?

Image of Tiffany
TIFFANY: EDB 3/94, grey, short hair
Tiffany's records indicate that she was born in 1994, but we think they are wrong and that she is quite a bit younger than that—she sure looks younger. She is a little stand offish, but she has not had a very secure life, and once she finds her own home, she will likely soften up some. She probably would prefer a quiet home with one person and no other cats. She's a pretty little thing and could make someone quite happy.

Image of Tin Tin
TIN TIN: EDB 8/04, white w/tabby spots, short hair
Tin Tin belonged to a homeless man who died, and Loaves & Fishes contacted Happy Tails to see if we could take in his cat. He is a beautiful, wonderful boy – he doesn't like other cats very much, but he loves people. He should be in a house where he is the only cat, but if you take him, he will love you to pieces. He is eager to please, and is very friendly. He has food allergies and has to eat a special food, but it's easy to get at any veterinary office, and if he has that he stays perfectly healthy; if not he gets an upset stomach and he breaks out. But, it is worth the trouble of getting his special food to have this big, goofy, lovable guy in your life. Come by the Adoption Center to meet him. Once you take him home, you'll wonder how you ever got by without him.

Image of Tomm
TOMM: EDB 7/05, orange, short hair
Tomm, together with his brother, Ray, were trapped in a feral colony in 2005 and deemed to be too friendly to stay with the other feral cats. Together they spent several months at a Happy Tails foster home, and became a little more socialized. The foster parent thought they would become more social at the Adoption Center, so they were transferred to the Center in 2007. They must be adopted together. Tomm is much more social than Ray, and with some people is very interactive, friendly and affectionate. He will still need some time to adapt to a new home, but will come around pretty quickly. He loves his brother and watches out for him, but will be happy as long as he is around. Please consider giving these two beautiful cats a chance.

Image of Truman
TRUMAN: EDB 7/05, black and white tuxedo, short hair
Truman was picked up as a stray by Placer SPCA. They discovered that he had a Happy Tails microchip, so returned him to our care. Unfortunately we are unable to locate his former owner, so he is available for adoption. He's a very nice cat, nice personality, calm demeanor, and very friendly. We don't know his background and how he ended up as a stray, but we do know that he wants his own home, and one that he gets to stay in forever.
