Volunteer Application
Adult Volunteer Program: The first step to become a Happy Tails volunteer is to review our New Volunteer Packet (see below). The next step is to RSVP to attend a new volunteer orientation meeting to learn about Happy Tails, its policies and procedures, and how it operates. Plan to bring your completed application with you to this training session. During Orientation, you will find out more about our organization, and we will review your application to determine how you can best assist us.

Click here for information on how to RSVP for an Orientation session.

Junior Volunteer Program: We also offer opportunities to help the animals if you want to volunteer and you are between ages 12 to 17. You can organize community donation drives for pet food, toys, towels and other needed supplies. You can also volunteer to work with our adoptable animals at the Center or another adoption site and possibly earn community service credit to meet your school's requirements (please note these shifts fill up very quickly and therefore we cannot guarantee their availability). To get started, review the Junior Program application (see below) and you and your parent or guardian must RSVP to attend a New Volunteer Orientation session. After you attend a session and submit a Junior Program Application, you will be contacted by our Junior Program Coordinator within two to three weeks.
