Happy Tails values the life of every cat and dog by providing compassionate care and cage-free shelter for homeless animals and working toward ending overpopulation and mistreatment. Learn more about what makes us special.
The Center is still closed to the public – visits are by appointment only at this time.
After more than a year of uncertainty, we share your relief and joy as California officially reopens today.
We understand that everyone is excited to return to activities we enjoyed before the pandemic. However, face coverings will still be required at Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary, for individuals who are not vaccinated. Our staff will continue to wear the appropriate face coverings in our Center when dealing with the public. The public will be asked to continue to wear face coverings for the protection and safety of our staff, volunteers and the public.
Self-screening for symptoms and good hand hygiene will be in place at our care facilities. You'll find hand sanitizer throughout our locations. If you don't have a personal face covering or mask, we'll provide a mask for you.
If you're fully vaccinated, thank you for doing your part to help keep your family, friends and communities safer.
We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these forever changing times, and look forward to providing care to the animals and your family.
