Meet Ember

Ember was found lying in the rain with burns and smoke inhalation. Once in Happy Tails, two things were clear: she was a very sweet little kitty, and she needed emergency care.

Vista Veterinary Specialists put Ember in an oxygen box to help her breathe more comfortably and ease her pain. To our great relief, she responded to care. Ember stole the heart of a veterinary technician, who will supervise her treatment and may adopt her. Ember will need a feeding tube until she can swallow comfortably. Needless to say, Ember's vet bills will be substantial.
